Terms of Sale and Use
Effective date: October 27, 2026
1. Who We Are and Agreement to These Terms
My Foreman Hates This is a trade name of Open Ledgers LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Amarillo, Texas ("My Foreman Hates This," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Sale and Use ("Terms") govern your use of myforemanhatesthis.com (the "Site") and every order you place through it. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping & Returns page, and our IP and Takedown Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or place an order.
We are reachable by email only: [email protected] for orders and claims, and [email protected] for everything else. We do not offer in-person pickup or a walk-in location.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the involvement of a parent or guardian, to place an order. If you order for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that business.
3. Optional Accounts
- Never required. You never need an account to browse or buy. Guest checkout is always available, and guest orders get the same products, prices, and remedies as account orders.
- Availability. Accounts are optional and may not be offered at all times. We may add, pause, or end the account feature. If we end it, your past orders and your rights under these Terms are not affected.
- How sign-in works. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address. There is no password. Sign-in is provided by Google Firebase Authentication. You must use an email address you control, and you may not use someone else's.
- What an account does. When you are signed in, you can see your order history and tracking links, and for Foreman's Pick Box orders we try to avoid sending you designs you have already received from us (see Section 6).
- Your responsibility. Keep access to your email account secure, because anyone who can open your email can use your sign-in link. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Closing your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will delete the sign-in record. We keep order records as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms.
4. Products and Print-on-Demand Fulfillment
- Made to order. Every product is printed on demand after you order. We hold no inventory. Printing, packing, and shipping are performed for us by our fulfillment partner, Printful, and its facilities.
- Appearance. Colors, print placement, and size can vary slightly from the images on the Site because of screens, garment blanks, and the printing process. Product images may be digital mockups. Minor variation is not a defect.
- Sizing and blanks. Garment brands, blanks, and size charts may change without notice when our fulfillment partner substitutes an equivalent item. Check the size chart on each product page before ordering.
- Availability. We may discontinue any design or product, or limit quantities, at any time.
5. Orders, Pricing, Tax, and Payment
- Order acceptance. Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send a shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, including after payment, for suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, an address we cannot ship to, or a design that has been withdrawn. If we cancel, we refund what you paid for the canceled items.
- Prices. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are shown on the product page and in your cart before you check out. Shipping and any sales tax are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. We may correct pricing errors at any time, including after an order is placed, and will offer you a refund if a correction changes your total.
- Sales tax. We collect sales tax where the law requires.
- Payment. Payment is processed by Stripe on its secure hosted checkout page. Your card number is entered directly with Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Cancellations by you. Because items go into production quickly, you may cancel only by emailing [email protected] with your order number within 2 hours of ordering and before production starts. If production has started, we cannot cancel the order.
6. Foreman's Pick Box
The Foreman's Pick Box is a bundle of our regular products in which we choose the designs for you.
- What you choose. You choose the options shown on the box page before checkout. Currently, that is your trade (or All Trades) and your tee size.
- What you get. Every box contains exactly the items listed on the box page. Currently, that is 1 tee in the size you choose and 3 stickers. Every buyer of the same box gets the same product types and quantities.
- What we choose. We choose the designs and the tee color. Designs are drawn from our current catalog: from the designs in the trade line you choose (which includes our house design), or from all of our current designs if you choose All Trades. The tee color is one of the colors listed on the box page. We make the selection after you pay.
- Price. The box price is shown on the box page and in your cart before checkout. Shipping and any sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay, as with any order.
- No rarity, no extra value. Every design in a box is a design we also sell on its own at our regular price. We do not make box-only, rare, limited, or "chase" designs, and no design or color is worth more than another. The box has no cash value beyond the price you paid, and we make no promise about the resale value of any item.
- Repeats. A trade line has only a few designs, so a box will usually contain the same design on more than one item, and a later box may repeat designs from an earlier one. We do not guarantee that you will receive different designs unless the box page says so. If you are signed in to an account, we try to avoid sending designs you have already received from us, but we do not guarantee it.
- Not a game of chance. The Foreman's Pick Box is a purchase of a fixed set of products at a fixed price. It is not a lottery, raffle, sweepstakes, contest, or game. There are no prizes, no winners, and no odds; the only thing left to us is which of our current designs, and which listed tee color, goes on the products you bought.
- Returns. You do not choose the designs or color, so not liking a design or color, or receiving a design more than once, is not a reason for a return, exchange, or refund. Everything else in these Terms still applies: if a box item is misprinted, damaged, or defective, is missing, is a product type other than what the box page lists, or arrives in a size other than the one you ordered or a color not listed on the box page, it is covered under Section 7.
7. Shipping, Returns, Defects, and Refunds
We ship to U.S. addresses only. Our Shipping & Returns page explains production and delivery times, defect and lost-package claims, and refunds, and it is part of these Terms. In short:
- Defects and errors. If an item arrives misprinted, damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will reprint and reship the item or refund it, at our choice, at no charge to you. You do not need to send the item back.
- Lost packages. If your package has not arrived 5 business days after the estimated delivery date, email us within 30 days after the estimated delivery date and we will reship or refund.
- Change of mind and sizing. Because each item is printed for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, wrong size choice, or a Foreman's Pick Box design or color, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Address errors. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers the package to the address you gave at checkout. If a package is returned because the address was wrong or incomplete, or because it went unclaimed, we can reship it at your cost if you contact us within 14 days of our notice.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under law that cannot be waived.
8. Designs, Ownership, and Permitted Use
- What we own. The Site and its content, including our selection, arrangement, and presentation of designs, the human-written text and human edits in our designs and listings, our product photos and copy, and the names My Foreman Hates This and Open Ledgers LLC and their logos (our trademarks), belong to Open Ledgers LLC or its licensors. We claim copyright only to the extent the law recognizes it.
- How designs are made. Some of our artwork is created with the help of software tools, including generative AI tools, and then selected, arranged, and edited by us. Under current U.S. law, material generated by AI without enough human authorship is not protected by copyright, and neither are short phrases or common sayings. We do not claim copyright in any element the law treats as unprotectable, and we do not claim or imply exclusive rights to any slogan or common phrase. We review our designs before release to avoid copying other people's work, logos, or brands.
- Your purchase. Buying a product gives you ownership of that physical item. You may wear, display, resell, or give away the item. Buying a product does not give you the right to reproduce the design, use our names or logos, or make or sell copies.
- Site use. You may not scrape the Site, copy our listings or product images for resale, interfere with the Site's operation, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
9. Parody, Humor, and No Affiliation
Our designs are jokes and commentary about the skilled trades and the people who work in them. Any reference to a trade, job title, foreman, supervisor, crew, tool, code, standard, rule, trade practice, or region is descriptive or humorous, and no design refers to any real person or real employer. My Foreman Hates This is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any labor union, employer, contractor, trade group or association, apprenticeship program, code or standards body, licensing agency, government entity, manufacturer, tool or apparel brand, retailer, or any other company or person. Any third-party names that appear on the Site belong to their owners and are used only to describe or identify.
Our products are novelty apparel and accessories. They are not personal protective equipment, high-visibility or flame-resistant clothing, safety gear, or training material, and nothing on a product or on the Site is safety, code, or technical guidance. Wearing our products does not meet any workplace dress or safety requirement. Follow your employer's rules, the applicable code, and the instructions of your supervisor.
10. Design Requests and Submissions
If you send us a design idea, joke, slogan, photo, or other submission (including through a "Request a design" link):
- you confirm it is your own idea or that you have the right to share it, and that it does not copy someone else's work, trademark, or likeness;
- we have no obligation to use it, keep it confidential, credit you, or pay you, unless we agree otherwise in writing;
- we may already be developing similar ideas, and similar designs we release are not evidence that we used your submission; and
- you grant Open Ledgers LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and commercialize your submission.
Do not send confidential information. We may decline any request, including requests that name or picture a real person, employer, crew, or company, or that use another person's logo, brand, or character.
11. Intellectual Property Complaints
We respect the rights of others. If you believe a design or listing on the Site infringes your copyright, trademark, or right of publicity, follow the steps in our IP and Takedown Policy and email [email protected] with the subject line "IP Notice." We review every complete notice, and we may remove a design while we review it.
12. Reviews and Content You Post
If the Site lets you post reviews or photos, you are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or that includes another person's private information. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, and use your posted content in connection with the Site and our marketing. We may remove any content at our discretion.
13. Third-Party Services
The Site relies on third parties, including Stripe (payments), Printful (fulfillment), shipping carriers, Google Firebase (optional account sign-in), Fastmail (email), and Cloudflare (hosting). Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond our obligations to you under Section 7.
14. Warranty Disclaimer
Except for the defect and replacement remedy in Section 7, the Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Open Ledgers LLC and its members, managers, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of or related to the Site, these Terms, or any product. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site, these Terms, or any product is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Open Ledgers LLC from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or any submission or content you provide.
17. Governing Law and Venue
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Venue. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state courts located in Randall County, Texas, or in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Amarillo Division, and both parties consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Disputes are not subject to arbitration, and nothing in these Terms waives your right to go to court.
Before filing any claim, please email us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
19. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Shipping & Returns page, and the IP and Takedown Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and your orders. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
